Drawer Assembly

This Front Load Washer Detergent Drawer houses the compartments for the washer’s detergent, bleach and fabric softener. If the existing drawer is damaged and leaking, you can easily replace it with this part. To remove the existing part, pull the old drawer out until it stops and then press the tab to release it. Take a digital photo to note the placement of the inserts to use as a reference when you install them in the new part. Note that you’ll need to use the handle from the existing part or purchase a new one. Replacing the drawer will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
