If the mounts of your dryer’s current baffle become broken or damaged causing the part to detach from the drum, you’ll need to replace the entire piece with this part. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Item: You may also need one or more screws (item 897892) to hold the new baffle against the drum.
