This Front Load Washer Motor Control Board provides power to the motor and also controls the washer's motor speed. If the motor isn't functioning properly, or not functioning at all, the Motor Control Board should be checked and replaced if needed. The Control Board lives behind the rear access panel of your washing machine and is mounted to the base of the washer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the oven before installing this part.
