Door Handle Spring

The Dishwasher Door Handle Spring keeps the door latch secure and in place. To access the part, remove the screws from the inside door panel and separate it from the top section that houses the spring. You can use pliers to gently remove the old spring. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
