Timer 60 Hz

The 60Hz Dryer Timer controls the electrical components of the appliance and duration of its drying cycles. If any of the contacts in your appliance’s timer have burned out, or if the motor inside the unit shorted out and the timer is no longer functioning, you can easily replace the assembly with this part. This assembly does not include the timer knob, but you can purchase it separately. Note that timer issues are often misdiagnosed; refer to the Repair Help section on the Whirlpool Parts website for additional repair information. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
