Cycling Thermostat

This Dryer Cycling Thermostat monitors and regulates the temperature inside the dryer. If the cycling thermostat is no longer working properly, you may notice that your dryer will not heat. Note that a multimeter (item 964740) can be used to test for continuity to determine if the thermostat is defective and requires replacement. This assembly includes (1) adjustable dryer cycling thermostat with an internal-bias heater (WP3387134) and installation instructions. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
