Door Actuator

The Dishwasher Door Latch Actuator lifts the door strike of the appliance to unlatch the door when the handle is raised. This part is constructed of durable black plastic and measures approx. 3" L x 3-" W. If the existing latch is damaged and you’re unable to open or close your dishwasher door, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that if your dishwasher door isn’t properly latched, the appliance will not be able to initiate the wash cycle. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Be sure to turn off the dishwasher's water supply underneath the sink before installing this part.
