Boot Spring Clamp

The Front Load Washer Bellow Seal Clamp Ring holds the washer bellow seal (door boot) in place on the outer wash tub. If you notice water leaking out onto the floor, the existing part may have failed and should be replaced. Note that you will need to disassemble the washer to access this part. Replacing the clamp will require basic hand tools and disassembly of the washer. Previous repair experience will be helpful but isn’t necessary. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Item: If the washer is still leaking, the Door Bellow Seal (item WPW10111435) may have a tear in it and will also need to be replaced. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
