Strike

The Dishwasher Door Latch Strike attaches at the top of the dishwasher tub and locks the door latch in place when the door is closed. This part works as a mechanical actuator for the operation of the door switch and provides door tension to create a proper seal. The strike measures approx. 2-in L and is constructed of metal. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
