Blender Blender Coupling

The Kitchenaid® Blender Drive Coupler is a rubber piece with teeth that drives the blender blades. This Blender Drive Coupler has reverse threads, and connects the blender jar to the base. If your current Coupler is too damaged to gently knock off the base of your blender, you may have to use a screwdriver to bend it and pry it free. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the blender and novice repair experience. You should unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker if applicable for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful tip: Coupling is reverse threaded so turn it clockwise to unscrew from motor shaft. Counter clockwise to thread back onto shaft.
