Thermostat

The Range High Limit Thermostat is a safety device that cuts off the power to the heating element if the appliance begins to overheat. Note that the only difference between the high limit thermostat and the operating thermostat is their opening and closing temperatures. If your oven won’t heat, this part might be defective and should be replaced. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item.Helpful Tip: Take a digital photo or make a note of the current assembly before removing to aid with installation.
