Electric Broil Element

This Range Broil Heating Element is a replacement part that provides constant heat to the broiler when cooking. If your broiler does not heat up properly, the element has likely shorted out and will need to be replaced. Reuse the existing support bracket for the element if your oven has one when installing this part. Replacing the element will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the oven and novice repair experience. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Be mindful not to let the wires connected to the current part fall back inside the oven when you disconnect them; retrieval of the wires will require additional steps during the installation
