Heating Element

The Dishwasher Heating Element heats the water during the cleaning cycle and helps dry the dishes at the end of the cycle. If the heating element has shorted out and no longer heats your dishwasher properly, replacing it may alleviate this issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the water supply under the sink. Helpful Tips: The door springs of the dishwasher may also need to be inspected and replaced during this installation.
