Evaporator Fan Motor

The French Door Refrigerator Evaporator Motor helps circulate cold air from the freezer into the fresh food compartment for sufficient cooling. If you hear a lot of noise coming from the freezer area or notice that your appliance isn't cooling consistently or at all, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. This assembly includes a new evaporator motor; note that the fan itself is sold separately. Be mindful when removing the freezer drawer; if you grip the unit by the handle, it could break off. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
