The Range Temperature Sensor measures the oven temperature. If your oven isn't holding the correct temperature, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. The oven temperature may be inaccurate by more than 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The sensor is usually located at the back of your oven, held in place by several screws and a wiring harness. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
