Bake Element

This Oven Lower Bake Element is a replacement part for the lower oven heating element that provides constant heat when cooking. If your oven does not bake properly, check to see if there is a burned-out section of the element. Replacing the part may alleviate this issue. To access the part, open the oven door and remove the racks.The bake element is held into the oven by two Phillips screws. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Be mindful not to let the wires connected to the current part fall back inside the oven when you disconnect them; retrieval of the wires will require additional steps during the installation process.
