Drive Coupler

The Blender Drive Coupler is a rubber piece with teeth that drives the blender blades. This part has reverse threads, and connects the blender jar to the base. If the existing part is too damaged to gently knock off the base of your blender, you may have to use a screwdriver to pry it free. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the blender and novice repair experience. You should unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker if applicable before installing this part. Helpful tip: The coupling is reverse threaded so turn it clockwise to unscrew it from motor shaft; turn it counter clockwise to thread back onto shaft.
