Gas Valve

This Gas Range Pressure Regulator and Safety Valve controls the gas supply for the bake and broil burners in your oven. Once this valve senses the desired heat, it will open up and allow the gas to travel to the oven burner. If you are no longer getting heat to the burners, you may need to replace the valve. Installing this part will require specialized tools, complicated disassembly of the oven and prior repair experience. We recommend that you hire a qualified technician to install this assembly. If installing yourself, remember to unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker and gas valve for the appliance before beginning.
