Bake Element

The Range Bake Element keeps your oven heating properly. The element is fastened into the back of the oven by two screws. Screws are not included so please note to save the existing screws. If your range bake element has shorted out and is no longer heating the oven sufficiently, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. When removing the old element and disconnecting the wires, make sure you don't allow the wires to fall back into the oven wall.This bake element has 24" wide wire terminals. Terminal depth is 3" and the total element length is 19-1/2". Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
