Valve Coil

The Gas Dryer Valve Coil opens the gas valves while the dryer is running. If gas isn't flowing and your dryer has no heat, or it's cycling on and off repeatedly, replacing the coil may alleviate these issues. This set has a boost hold coil (3 prong) and secondary coil (2 prong). You can use a multimeter or VOM to test your coils to see if they are functioning properly. To access the part, remove the small access panel at the bottom front of the dryer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the gas valve that’s connected to your dryer.
