Inlet Valve

The SxS Refrigerator Dual Secondary Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker. If one of the solenoids in the current valve went bad and your appliance is no longer dispensing ice or water, then replacing this part could alleviate these issues. Note that this part is not the primary water inlet valve for the appliance; if the primary valve is functioning properly but you're still experiencing issues with the appliance, the secondary valve could be defective. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the refrigerator’s water supply.
