Water Valve Assembly

The French Door Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker. If the icemaker of your appliance has stopped making ice, no water flows from the dispenser or it flows constantly, or if you notice water at the bottom of the fresh food compartment, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. The package includes (1) secondary dual water valve. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: We do not recommend disassembling your appliance’s current water inlet valve to clean it due to the risk of failure after the repair.
