Electronic Control Board

The SxS Refrigerator Electronic Control Board manages the main functions of the appliance, including cooling temperature and defrost times for the fresh food compartment and freezer. If the current control board in your appliance is damaged or you notice that the refrigerator portion of the appliance is freezing your food, replacing the control board may alleviate these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: Take a digital photo of the wires attached to the existing part before you begin this repair to aid with reassembly. Note that you will need to reuse the existing mounting screws when you install this part.
