The Front Load Washer Dispenser Drawer Actuator attaches to the top of the detergent dispenser to open and close the dispenser as the cycle requires. If your washer isn’t dispensing detergent properly, replacing the actuator may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. Be sure to unplug the washer or shut off the circuit breaker for the appliance before you begin. Take a digital photo of the wiring assembly before you remove the existing part to aid with the installation.
