Drum Support Roller Shaft

The Dryer Drum Roller Axle allows the appliance’s roller to maintain quiet and constant spinning during the drying cycle. If your dryer is noisy while operating, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This is a rear left-hand thread shaft that measures approx. 2-1/2" L. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: This is an updated part; if your dryer is an older model, you may also need to replace the mounting nuts(WPW10080190) and washers (W11236646 and WPW10512946) to complete this repair.
