This SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve Kit supplies water to the refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser. This Water Inlet Valve Kit includes the valve, 1/4" tubing, and a plastic union. If one of the solenoids in the valve has failed, water is no longer being supplied to the ice maker or the dispenser and will need to be replaced. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also, make sure to turn the water source to the refrigerator completely off before installing this part.
