Cycling Thermostat

This Dryer Cycling Thermostat monitors and regulates the temperature inside the dryer. To access the part, you'll need to remove the large back panel of the dryer, then remove the wires and 1/4" screw that holds the old thermostat into its housing.This part has the following specifications: 3 terminal L140-20F. This means it has a limit of 140 degrees fahrenheit, and that it will cut out when it reaches this temperature. It kicks back in when the temperature drops by 20 degrees fahrenheit. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
