The Dryer Heating Element is a replacement part for heating element coils that short out, causing your dryer to no longer produce the heat necessary to dry your clothes. If your dryer is not heating as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that we recommend first checking for a blown thermal fuse on the blower housing before replacing the heating element. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: The heating element and many other parts can be tested using a volt/ohm meter.
